UPM Plywood receives second strike warning

The Finnish Industries Federation is still negotiating collective agreements for the mechanical forest industry with about twenty companies. The Finnish Industrial Federation has announced a new strike in the UPM plywood industry (UPM Plywood). The strike would start on March 10 and end on Sunday of the same week. The strike will affect four UPM Plywood units in Finland, affecting approximately 1,000 employees. The labor dispute concerns a company-specific collective agreement that the Finnish Industrial Federation is negotiating with UPM Plywood.
