The forestry giant UPM is planning layoffs at Ristiina's Pellos plywood factory in Etelä Savo. The production of UPM's Pellos plywood mills will be adjusted, according to the company. According to UPM, the market situation for spruce plywood produced by the factory has weakened throughout Europe.
