U.S. DoC finds dumping of wood mouldings and millwork from China

The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) announced its preliminary determination in the antidumping duty (AD) investigation of imports of wood mouldings and millwork products from China.

Commerce also announced its negative preliminary determination in the AD investigation of wood mouldings and millwork products from Brazil.

In regard to China, Commerce in their preliminary findings determined that exporters from China have dumped wood mouldings an millwork products into the U.S. at margins ranging from 40.30% to as high as 359.16%.

As a result of their preliminary findings, Commerce will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to collect cash deposits from importers of wood mouldings and millwork products from China based on the preliminary rates noted above.

Commerce will not instruct CBP to require cash deposits from importers of wood mouldings and millwork products from Brazil.
