Swedish softwood lumber exports rise by 13% in September
    In September, the Swedish sawmills exported 13% more sawn and planed softwood lumber than in September 2016.    During the period from January to August, exports have remained at the same level as last year. The average price for the exported timber in August was SEK 2,030/m3, the equivalent of EUR 207.70/m3, 5.1% more than in August 2016.    The prices for planed softwood have increased only by 1.4%, while those for sawn softwood declined by 6.7% and for sawnwood by 5.4 ...
