Sweden’s 2024 softwood lumber exports: Volatile markets lead to uneven performance

In the first eleven months of 2024, Sweden exported approximately 11.45 million cubic meters of softwood lumber, a 6% decrease compared to the same period in 2023. In value terms, exports totaled €2.98 billion, representing a 2% increase compared to €2.92 billion in the same period of 2023.
