Metsä Group has informed about new unit shutdowns. Production will stop due to strikes at the sawmills in Rauma, Vilppula, Rengo and Lappeenranta on Friday (March 22). The factories in Simpele, Kyro, Tako and Äänekoski will stop on Monday 25.3. Factories and sawmills can be restarted once wood transport and product transport by rail start again, Metsä Group says.
