During September 2020, Swedish exporters increased their supply of softwood lumber to European customers by 28%. The total volume of supplies amounted to 704.6 thousand m³. Nearly all of the country's major markets have contributed to this unusually high growth. According to data published by Eurostat, exports to the UK were 30% higher than a year earlier and amounted to 252 thousand m³.
