Over the last six months, the Latvian wood market has seen notable fluctuations in the prices of various assortments, including sawlogs, pulpwood, and veneer blocks. The price of softwood sawlogs in Latvia has remained relatively stable, with an average price of 85-95 EUR per cubic meter during the autumn and winter months. Although production volumes were adjusted due to economic activities to limit the spruce bark beetle, prices did not increase as anticipated.
