Södra’s new CLT facility inaugurated – tenfold increase in production capacity

Södra’s new cross-laminated timber (CLT) facility was inaugurated yesterday (March 15) on the west coast of Sweden. The facility is one of the largest in Sweden and marks a tenfold increase in Södra’s production capacity. The opening will be attended by the governor of Halland, Brittis Benzler, and the chairman of the municipal board in Varberg, Ann-Charlotte Stenkil. Södra's board chairman Magnus Hall and Södra's CEO Lotta Lyrå were also present. The plant at Värö is one of the largest in Sweden for the production of CLT ...
