With record high prices in the traditionally slow months of June and July now, New Zealand log export prices have dropped from $NZ170/JAS for A grade to sub $NZ120/JAS in October.     Lockdown in NZ allowed most ports to completely cleanout all log stocks, however after little more than a month back at work, most ports are bulging at the seams again.
