Segezha inaugurates Galich plywood mill in Russia; considers selling its European assets
Segezha Group officially opened the Galich plywood mill, which is one of the largest greenfield projects in the Russian timber industry, the company's press service reports.    The total investment amounted to more than 12 billion rubles (EUR 163 million). This is the first production of plywood in the size "maxi" (7x13 feet) in Russia. The design capacity is 125 thousand m³ of products per year. Taking into account logging and reforestation, the enterprise will provide jobs for about 1 thousand people.    To provide the plant with timber, the company leases in ...
