Sawn softwood exports from Russia went up by 12% in 2017
The Russian sawn softwood exports reached record level in 2017, amounting to a volume of 27.9 million m3, which is 12.4% more than in the previous year. This represents the highest growth rate in the last 12 years.    As WhatWood reported, in 2005, the export sales increased by 17% (year-on-year) to 14.78 million m3. In the period from 2006-2016 sales grew by an average of 5.6% per year.
