Russia’s exports of lumber, roundwood drop sharply in Q1/2020
In January-March 2020, Russian lumber suppliers reduced exports by 7.7%. The export volume amounted to 4.1 million tons.    In value terms, supplies to foreign markets decreased by 6.2% and are estimated at 966.4 million dollars.    In the first quarter of this year, roundwood exports decreased by almost 24% and amounted to about 2.9 million m³. In value terms, the decrease amounted to more than 30% - down to $ 202.2 million.    According to the Russian Federal Customs Service, Russian plywood producers managed to ...
