Russian birch plywood now entering EU market through Georgia?

Georgia has unexpectedly increased its import volumes in the European birch plywood market. Even at the beginning of last year, not much birch plywood was imported from the country. The EU started investigating the illegal import of Russian birch plywood via Kazakhstan and Turkey in August 2023.
