Russia to raise export duties for lumber
Russian government has increased export duties for lumber with a moisture content of more than 22%, and a thickness and width of more than 10 cm.    For softwood, export duties are set at 200 euros per 1 cubic meter, for valuable hardwoods (oak, beech, ash) - from 250 to 370 euros per cubic meter.    Officials expect that this will limit the export of unprocessed timber from the country under the guise of lumber.    At the moment, the duty rate for softwood lumber is 10%, but not less than 13 ...
