The roundwood prices in Estonia mostly decreased during January 2017, as compared to last year. However, an exception is birch veneer, whose price has risen more than 10% from December 2016 to January 2017, at an average of EUR 116.03/m3. As compared to January 2016, the price is almost 20% higher. The price for birch logs increased by 1.9% since December, reaching EUR 61.01/m3.
