Rise in Swedish, Finnish export prices will not yet save Estonian wood industry

The slight rise in export prices to Finland and Sweden and the decrease in production are not expected to make a big difference to the Estonian lumber industry in the short term, experts say. Estonia's domestic companies have struggled over the last couple of years due to the economic downturn in Scandinavia, its biggest export market.
