Record timber prices in Norway

In the third quarter of 2024, a total of 2.6 million cubic meters of timber was harvested for industrial purposes in Norway. Forest owners received an average of NOK 694 (€58) per cubic meter, marking a 26% increase compared to the same period in 2023. According to the latest figures from Statistics Norway, timber prices have risen substantially.
