In May, the prices of softwood lumber in Austria are largely stable as compared to April. The prices either are identical or slightly vary over April values. There is no discernible trend up or down. Year-on-year, however, a significant price increase can still be noticed. This mostly applies to large-sized boards and reserve squared timber, class II-III.
