Pfeifer reports pellet production record

With 138,000 tons of pellets, the Pfeifer's Unterbernbach plant set a new production record in 2022. Following the principle of the closed value-added chain, Pfeifer processes the logs delivered in Unterbernbach 100 percent into sawn timber, pressboard blocks, pellets and electricity. According to Pfeifer, after some shortages and unusual price jumps in the previous year, pellet customers have been able to breathe a sigh of relief for some time. Production running at full speed ensures the supply of the wood pellets and the prices also remain significantly lower than for fossil fuels. Current comparison: At ...
