Moelven Valåsen is currently in an expansion phase. They will shortly be building a new line for small-dimension boards, when their annual production is estimated to increase from 375,000 cubic meters to just over 500,000 cubic meters. The production increase will require investment in new kiln capacity, and it will be a TC channel dryer from Swedish Valutec. Assembly will begin in the summer of 2024.
