Moelven is building a new pellet factory and a new bioenergy plant in a small village Sokna located between Hønefoss and Krøderen (Norway). The pellet factory will be efficiently integrated into the company's existing sawmill. The sawmill's by-products will be used for pellet production. Enova, a Norwegian government enterprise responsible for promotion of environmentally friendly production and consumption of energy, supports the investment in bioenergy funding it with NOK 66 million.
