Mercer gets green to acquire Structurlam
Mercer International Inc. has received Bankruptcy Court approval for the acquisition of Structurlam Mass Timber Corporation and its subsidiaries. The acquisition includes the Conway Facility in Arkansas, USA, and production facilities in British Columbia, Canada, for a total of $81.1 million (excluding fees and expenses). The transaction is expected to be completed soon, subject to customary conditions. The Conway Facility is a modern manufacturing plant built in 2021.
