According to Rosstat, the Russian state statistical agency, the production volume of plywood in Russia during the first four months of 2023 reached 1.02 million cubic meters, reflecting a decline of 24.1% compared to the previous year. Due to the imposition of EU sanctions, Russia has lost its presence in the European plywood market.
