Lumber prices in the US go down through May
A muted trading pace prevailed across much of the US lumber market. Green Douglas Fir remained the primary exception, as the impact of two recent sawmill closures and seasonal weather in California combined to give that market its strongest trading pace of the year to date.    Sales of dry framing struggled to keep pace with production.
