    Demand for Indian imported logs continues unchanged but imports are still affected by the withdrawal of credit facilities. Another factor impacting imports has been the weakness of the rupee.    The rupee has fallen against the US dollar by around 5% over the past month making imports more expensive. Analysts write that “under these circumstances any rise in C&F prices is ruled out”.
