Kronospan receives EBRD loan for wood-based panels plant in Ukraine
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) organizes a syndicated loan of EUR116 million for Kronospan UA (Novovolynsk, Volyn region), which is part of Kronospan Group, for the construction of a new plant, according to a bank press release.    Kronospan will build a new OSB plant on the existing Kronospan particleboard plant in Novovolynsk in northwestern Ukraine, 10 km from the Polish border. The plant will have a production capacity of 280,000 tons of OSB boards annually. As part of the OSB plant, Kronospan UA is investing in a direct heated dryer, a multi ...
