Finland: Weakening sawn timber demand lowers prices and cuts exports
    Finland's sawn timber market is facing something new, as the demand has declined during the spring. In January-June, the export of sawn timber from Finland decreased by six percent from the previous year. Almost 4.5 million cubic meters of lumber were exported to the world.    The sawn timber boom that started in the first corona year, or the corona boom, is waning. This was not yet visible in the June export price, which was just under 400 euros per cubic meter. The point of fading should already be visible ...
