Estonia’s wood industry expects a moderate recovery in export markets in the spring

Although according to October foreign trade statistics, exports of Estonian wood products increased sharply compared to the same period last year, this is likely due to a larger one-off transaction, and the wood industry expects the decline in interest rates to boost the construction sector in export markets. According to Statistics Estonia, in October this year, Estonian wood and wood products were exported by 44.1 million euros more than in the same period last year.
