Estonia: Pine and spruce log prices in September significantly lower compared to last year

In September, there were no significant changes in the softwood timber market. During the month, the prices for pine logs decreased by 1.2%, pine pulpwood by 0.7%, and spruce logs by 1%. However, there was a slight increase in the price of small diameter spruce logs by 0.5%. The current state of the Estonian timber industry can be described even more clearly by comparing prices to September of the previous year.
