Conifex announced today the curtailment of its sawmill and planer operations for two weeks starting June 17, 2024. This decision follows ongoing weather-related transportation issues that have delayed spring log deliveries, resulting in lower-than-expected log inventories, according to the company. The curtailment is expected to reduce sawmill production capacity by approximately 8,500 Mfbm.
