China’s plywood exports surge 24% in 2024

China’s plywood exports surged in 2024, with shipments reaching 13.27 million cubic meters, valued at $5.271 billion, according to China Customs data. This marks a 24% increase in volume and a 9% rise in value year on year, despite a decline in average export prices. China exported plywood to more than 200 countries, with the top 10 destinations accounting for 48% of total exports.
