China to start tariffs on US wood products starting next week
In response to US measures, China will overtax products imported from that country. The Chinese Government Customs Tariff Commission has specified it today. The taxes are valued at US $ 60 billion and include a long list of wood products.     Initially, China had considered tiered retaliatory taxes ranging from 25% to 5% (25, 20, 10, 5). But as the US has decided for the time being only a surcharge of 10%, the Chinese have reduced their retaliatory taxes to 10 and 5%. In case the US passes 25%, China will line up.    Below ...
