China expands national forest reserves as to keep up with rise in timber imports
According to the State Forestry and Grassland Administration plans have been prepared for an expansion through planting and rehabilitation of National Forest Reserves.    This plan calls for enlarging the forest reserves by 7 million hectares by 2020 and aims to have 20 million hectares of national reserve forests by 2035.
