BC's struggling forestry industry is taking another hit following the release of an internal memo from Canfor’s Fort St. John sawmill. Employees of the mill have received word the company will be reducing its operations, planning two curtailments slated to begin later this month. Th first curtailment will begin June 28th and run until July 15th, 2024, with a second set of reduced employee hours slated to begin august 26 to September 6th, according to the memo.
