Finnish softwood lumber exports to the world increased by 5% in the first five months of 2019. The softwood lumber volumes reached 3,1 million m3 during the mentioned period, a rise by more than 142,000 m3 as compared to the same period of 2018.    The softwood lumber exports to the European Union grew slightly by 1%, reaching 1,17 million during January-May 2019, as compared to the 1,16 million exported in 2018.
