Arauco to start second phase construction of MDF plant in Mexico

Arauco recently commenced the second phase of construction of its plant in Zitácuaro, Michoacán, MexicoThe total investment in this new MDF production line amounts to USD 200 million and is expected to generate 3,000 direct and indirect jobs in the region. Manuel Hernández Ayala, CEO of Arauco Mexico, highlighted that the new MDF line will have a production capacity of 300,000 cubic meters per year, making it the largest in Mexico.
