In February, the price of wood pellets in Germany increased by 1.7 percent compared to the previous month. Consumers currently pay for 6 tons (t) purchases of wood pellets an average of € 269.81/t.    A kilowatt-hour (kWh) of heat from pellets costs 5.40 cents, fuel oil 6.70 cents and natural gas 6.21 cents.
