Finnish wood product industry sees economic turnaround

Weak market conditions remain the biggest concern, according to a survey by the Finnish Wood Product Industry Association (Puutuoteteollisuus). Companies in the Finnish wood product sector anticipate revenue growth this year. According to the survey, about half of the respondents expect an increase in revenue, while only five percent foresee a decline. Approximately 60 percent of respondents believe that the utilization rate of their production facilities will improve this year.
