Ziegler’s former Swedish sawmills hope for a more active new owner

At the end of last year, the German sawmill group Ziegler Group went into insolvency. The group included over 30 units, among them two Swedish sawmills. One of these is Bäckebrons Sawmill in Värmland, which now hopes that the new owner, Rettenmeier, will take over and further develop the business. Bäckebrons Sawmill has undergone significant upgrades in recent years, including a new boiler and a new sawline.
