UPM will terminate a maximum of 88 jobs as a result of change negotiations. The negotiations concerned UPM Pulp's pulp mills in Finland, UPM Timber's operations in Finland and UPM Metsä. According to the company, the goal of the negotiations that started in October was to make operations more efficient and secure profitability. A total of approximately 1,600 employees were included in the change negotiations.
