Weak market pushes John Deere to start layoffs

John Deere Forestry oy starts change negotiations about possible layoffs at the Joensuu factory in Finland. There are 368 hourly paid employees in the scope of the negotiations. The change negotiations start this week and are estimated to last two weeks. Possible layoffs last a maximum of 90 days. The company is told that the background of the change negotiations is the general uncertainty and deterioration of the market situation, which has led to a weakening of the demand for forest machines.
