Rising demand and limited roundwood availability are pushing prices higher once again in Norway. There is a competition for timber, which is causing prices to rise again from September 1 in Norway, Viken Skog announced. It is especially the demand for spruce timber that is driving prices upwards. Viken Skog SA is a cooperative owned by approximately 9,000 forest owners in Viken, Vestfold and parts of the interior.
