Spruce log prices in Sweden passed the EUR 100/m3 mark

The price of wood continues to rise in Sweden. In June, the forest owners' association Mellanskog announced the largest price increases in its history, and in late August, Södra, which operates in southern Sweden, reported significant hikes. Södra increased the price of standard spruce logs by up to 100 SEK per cubic meter, which is nearly 9 EUR (approximately 9 EUR).
