The EU Regulation on Deforestation-free Products (EUDR) came into effect on June 29, 2023, replacing the previous EU Timber Regulation. This new regulation extends mandatory due diligence requirements to additional commodities, including cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya, and wood.
