German forest industry takes issue with EUDR

In an open letter to the German Federal Government, the German forestry and wood products sector argue that the “the impending bureaucratic hurdles and high technical requirements” of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) “will prevent all market participants from maintaining free access to the markets and small private forest owners will be left behind”.
