Metsä Fiber, a member of Metsä Group, starts change negotiations at the Merikarvia sawmill. The purpose is to stop lumber production at the sawmill by summer. The negotiations concern all 79 employees of the sawmill. "The technical service life of the Merikarvia sawmill has come to the end of its life cycle.
