Finland: Log prices fall in October

The fall in standing sales prices continued in October. Average prices for spruce and pine logs fell by 2% compared to September and pulpwood prices fell by the same amount. The price of birch logs rose by 1%. Since June, the volume of timber trade has been almost a third lower than in the previous year.
