EU softwood lumber exports drop by 38% in H1/2023

EU's softwood lumber exports in the first half of 2023 fell by 38% in value to a good €5 billion compared to the same period last year. The export volume to the USA increased by 4%.  According to information from EOS based on Eurostat data, Germany's exports grew by 14% to 1.5 million m3, Sweden's by 24% to 630,000 m3.
