Ponsse lowers its profit forecast for 2023

The Finnish industrial company Ponsse, which manufactures forest machines, lowers its profit forecast for the full year 2023. The company now expects that the operating result for 2023 will end up at the level of the corresponding result for 2022 of 46.6 million euros. The previous guidance was that the operating profit this year will be slightly higher than the corresponding result last year. The company justifies the lowered forecast by saying that persistent inflation has negatively affected profitability.
